Overview
So - you have a Guidefitter-hosted Outfitter Website, that's great! But how can you see how much traffic is coming to your website, where is the traffic coming from, what devices are being used to access your website and more? You can get access to the full array of your website traffic stats by configuring a Google Analytics account to work with your outfitter website.
Step 01: Create a Google Analytics account
The first step is to create your own Google Analytics (GA) account so that we can use that account to set up access to your outfitter website stats. Go to the Google Analytics website, and create your account.
Step 02: Create a new "Property" in Google Analytics for your outfitter website
Once you have your GA account created, you have to create a "Property" inside your GA account. In the Property Name, simply put the name of your outfitting business.
Make sure you set the correct time zone for your outfit.
Click "Next" and fill in the optional "About your business" details, and then click "Create."
Step 03: Create a new "Data Stream"
Once you have your Property created, you need to create a new Data Stream so that we can start collecting data for your website. There are three options - Web, Android app or iOS app. Click the "Web" button.
When the "Setup up data stream" dialog pops up, enter in your primary website address (URL) for your business. NOTE: If you have multiple URLs that redirect to your main URL, only put the main URL for your business here. Then, give the data stream a name in the "Stream name" box - the name of your outfitting business is fine.
Step 03: Share the Measurement ID for your new Data Stream with Guidefitter
After your new Data Stream has been created, you will see a screen like the one below that contains information at the top about the new stream. Copy the "Measurement ID" number (outlined in red in the screenshot below) and then send an email to support@guidefitter.com, along with your name, the name of your outfit, the URL to your outfitter website, and this Measurement ID number.
Our support folks will make sure this number gets added to our analytics platform so that you can start receiving visitor statistics for your outfitter website inside your new Google Analytics account and property data stream. You will receive an email or phone call from Guidefitter support once this step has been completed on our end.
Step 04: View website statistics in Google Analytics
Once everything has been configured properly and your new data stream is collecting data from Guidefitter, you can login anytime you wish to your Google Analytics (GA) account and view whatever information you like about your visitor statistics.

PLEASE NOTE: It may take a few days for statistics to be fully available inside your GA account.
